St. Brigid's Cross has been woven by seller, willow artist Abbie Wiles, from sustainable willow grown on her farm in West Virginia.
A traditional cross associated with one of Ireland's patron saints, St. Brigid of Kildaire. When hung by the door or in the rafters of a home, it is believed to bring protection and blessings. In Ireland the cross is hung on St Brigid's Day, February 1, and replaced each year.
